We conclude our second day of the Story Catcher Festival with a reading by Aimee Nezhukumatathil, the New York Times best-selling author of the poetry book, NIGHT OWL (Ecco, 2026), and two illustrated collections of essays, BITE BY BITE and WORLD OF WONDERS: IN PRAISE OF FIREFLIES, WHALE SHARKS, & OTHER ASTONISHMENTS, which was chosen as Barnes and Noble’s Book of the Year and named a finalist for the Kirkus Prize.

Her reading will be followed by a moderated discussion with Western's own Laura Pritchett, director of the Nature Writing Concentration in the Graduate Program of Creative Writing. A book signing by the author will follow. Find out more at the author's webpage: https://aimeenez.net
