The Gunnison Valley has so many amazing people who provide support during emergencies. This camp will includes learning about the Western Mountain Rescue Team, USFS, firefighters, police officers mad the Western Athletic Training Staff. Campers will learn how to keep themselves safe and what to do in emergency situations. The camp runs from June 3-7, 8:30am-5:30pm and offers both half and full-day options.

About Junior Mountaineers

Junior Mountaineers combines athletics & physical activities with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) to create a summer full of adventures and learning. Each week of camp will have a different theme that the various STEAM activities are based around in addition to the regularly scheduled weekly activities.
